MMA Passes in New York Senate, Moves to State Assembly for Approval
New York again took the first steps to sanction mixed martial arts on Monday, as the state Senate voted 42-18 to approve the sport, clearing the bill to move to the state Assembly, where it has faced the most opposition in the past.
